A complete Arctic day, shaped by nature, light, and local knowledge

Spend a full day moving through fjords and landscapes we grew up in, with insight into real life in the north and stops at places only locals know. Visit Sámi reindeer, meet and feed reindeer.
The journey include a visit into Finland, with views toward the border area where Norway, Sweden, and Finland meet. Try ice fishing, and maybe we can cook your own catch, anyways alocal bonfire barbecue is part of the experience, so you don’t need to think about food —just settle in and enjoy the moment.
Starting early places us deep in the Arctic as darkness arrives. Sometimes the Northern Lights appear already during the other activities; other times we move freely to where conditions are best. This creates a calmer, more relaxed day with better positioning, less stress, and stronger chances for both beautiful daylight experiences and memorable Aurora moments.

The Complete arctic day

The Complete Arctic Day

A full Arctic day shaped by nature, light, and local knowledge

The Complete Arctic Day is our most comprehensive experience, created for those who want more than a short Northern Lights tour. This is a full Arctic day, where time, positioning, and local decisions create strong daylight experiences and optimal conditions when darkness arrives.

We start early and travel through fjord landscapes, valleys, and Arctic terrain in areas we grew up in and know deeply. Along the way, we stop at carefully chosen locations that offer space, calm, and insight into how life is actually lived in the North—far from the city, crowds, and artificial settings.

A encounter Sámi reindeer

A key part of the day is the visit a feed reindeer

Fjords, Finland, and the northern borderlands

Because the reindeer herding takes place close to the border, the tour also includes a visit into Finland. Depending on conditions, we may have views toward the area where Norway, Sweden, and Finland meet. For many guests, this quiet and powerful landscape becomes a highlight—something that only makes sense when you allow enough time.

Local bonfire barbecue – no need to think about food

Food is a natural part of the day. A local bonfire barbecue, along with warm drinks and snacks, is included. You don’t need to plan or rush—this is a moment to slow down, share warmth, and experience how fire, food, and nature belong together in the Arctic.

A different kind of Northern Lights experience

What truly sets this tour apart is timing. When darkness arrives, we are already deep in strong locations. Some days the Northern Lights appear early—sometimes as early as 16:00–17:00. Other days, we follow conditions further into the night.

Sometimes the Aurora appears near the reindeer area. Other times, we move into new landscapes. We follow data, weather, and experience—not the clock. This means that on some days we return early, while on others we stay out longer (latest return around 02:30). The goal is always the same: to give the Northern Lights the best possible conditions.

Why The Complete Arctic Day is different

  • You experience a full Arctic day, not a rushed evening tour

  • You visit reindeer

  • You are already well positioned when darkness arrives

  • Ice fishing on a frozen lake

  • The day flows calmly, with less stress and better decisions

  • You actively support local people and an honest way of Arctic travel

The Complete Arctic Day is for those who want to see more, understand more, and experience the Arctic as it truly is—guided with time, care, and local roots.
